What an appointment looks like

1. Check in at reception (5 minutes before your appointment)
2. History-taking in the consultation room (10 – 30 minutes depending on the reason)
3. Examination — only when medically appropriate and with your consent
4. Discussion of findings & next step
5. Written plan as a printout or through a secure transfer route agreed with the practice
